A Rough Night: Caesarstone’s Launch Party in London

by Emma McSweeney on 23rd May 2018

A who’s who of the kbb industry gathered in May for the unveiling of DMC client Caesarstone’s brand new quartz surface collection.   The meticulous planning, thought and painstaking detail you would expect from Caesarstone resulted in a product launch party to remember – from the uber-cool warehouse surroundings to the thoughtfully designed menu and immersive installation across two floors. More than 400 guests partied at the Barge House in the shadow of the Oxo Tower on Southbank for a night of sensory surprises.

Tasked with managing an equally impressive press list for the event we were delighted with the staggering response -  70 members of the press attended! Journalists representing titles spanning interior design, luxury, architecture, KBB trade and lifestyle publications turned up in force including: Evening Standard’s Homes & Property, Wallpaper*, Elle Decoration, Architecture Today, Warehouse Home, The Studio, Kitchens, Bedrooms and Bathrooms, essential kitchens & bathrooms business, Natural Stone Specialist, the BCFA, The Independent, new architect and design ENKI, and many more.

Not to mention plenty of familiar faces amongst the design influencer community including French for Pineapple, Forward Features, Emma Palin, Cate St Hill, Rock n Roll Bride, and Girl About House.

The displays of the new Metropolitan collection evoked the growing popularity of industrial stylings in interior trends. The patterns and textures of the new products were mirrored in the surroundings, menu and music of the event which was enjoyed by the capacity crowd.

Guests were treated to cocktails and dishes that reflected the industrial stylings of the Metropolitan Collection, and enjoyed a spectacular dessert installation from Frances Quinn, winner of the Great British Bake Off, who delivered a series of stunning Callebaut chocolate rock formations, with textures that mirrored the unique patina of the new surfaces.

It was a rough night in the best possible way! Here are some of out favourite photos.
