A successful 4 days at KBB18!

by Emma McSweeney on 8th Mar 2018

It was lights, camera, action for the kitchen, bedroom and bathroom industry this week as its most important event in the UK, the KBB show, returned to Birmingham.

With three clients exhibiting at the show (Caesarstone, Astracast and Falmec) the DMC team provided full support throughout the four day run. It's been a hectic few months in the press office in the run up to the event; from meetings, to planning stands, preparing press releases and communicating with key industry press. Such an important event for the industry can be tough to make run smoothly so we ensure that things are plain sailing for our clients by providing a full brief and day-to-day agenda.

Networking is a crucial part of these industry shows and as a specialist interiors PR company, we have an extensive press database that our clients can benefit from to ensure their brand is seen by their target customers. All clients were interviewed by the key press before and during the event - and with our intensive one to one follow ups, we will be making sure that every single PR opportunity is squeezed out for them!

Exclusive opportunities for our clients included interviews and meetings with KB-Eye, KBB Daily, The Sunday Times, Kitchens, Bedrooms & Bathrooms, Professional Housebuilder and Property Developer as well as visits from prestigious acoustics institution QuietMark, for Falmec, and the chance for all three clients to speak up about market trends and business in a host of video interviews for the core KBB industry titles.

It's been a whirlwind couple of days, bringing a wealth of opportunity and some promising results. Here's some of our highlights:

The Caesarstone stand provided welcome relief for sore feet and coffee cravings!

The sore feet were well worth it!
