April was all about the latest home and consumer technology at DMC! Last month, AEG’s high-tech connected oven with camera featured in John Lewis’s smart technology concept at its flagship department store in Oxford Street. The oven earned coverage in T3, the Daily Mail and Mail Online, and The Times! AEG’s new SteamBake oven range also continued to receive excellent exposure with a full page in Ideal Home magazine! SteamBake received yet more attention in April when DMC also managed to secure a double page spread in KBB Review featuring AEG’s managing director, Peter Spencer, and head of marketing, Chris George, as they discussed the future of kitchen appliances and showrooms with Managing Editor, Andrew Davies.
April was also a busy month for Jessops with the opening of their new flagship shop in Brighton. The ribbon cutting event attracted trade and photography journalists from the likes of Retail Week and Amateur Photographer, who interviewed Jessops CEO, Neil Old on the company’s plans for expansion and multi-channel success. Brighton-based bloggers Lilla Loves, Foodie Eshe and Hello Miss Jordan also attended the opening event to see what the new store has to offer to the artistic streets of this vibrant city.
In April, The Independent championed GROHE’s shower and featured it in their sustainable homes of the future article! As well as national newspaper exposure, DMC also secured some fantastic coverage in home publications such as, House Beautiful, Homes & Interiors Scotland, Utopia Kitchens & Bathrooms and Which?
