The short and sweet 28 days of February have absolutely flown by, and now March Madness is in full swing! But before we jump head first into a month full of KBB shows, client press events and meetings galore, we’re keen to reflect on another very successful month here at DMC.
Our newest client Caesarstone is going from strength to strength, and this month, we have been continuing to focus on raising brand awareness. We targeted trade publications with the exciting industry news that Caesarstone’s UK team is growing at a steady rate, showing promise for the success of the company going forward. We’ve also been busy planning Caesarstone’s first press event, taking place in early March, and have been generating a buzz around the brand with high end consumer and design titles. Caesarstone is already proving popular with key home interest, design, trade and specialist titles, with this month's news stories being featured by Stone Specialist, Kitchens Review and kb-network.
Whilst on the subject of kitchens, our other kitchens client, LochAnna Kitchens have had a very successful month. Our personal highlight was seeing an image from their Profile Collection being used in Ideal Home’s Kitchens supplement. Ideal Home has an impressive circulation figure of 177,000 so we are delighted to have secured this coverage for LochAnna in such a key, esteemed publication.
Earlier in the month, we shared some very exciting results for GROHE, after we secured two pieces of national press in one weekend for some of their newest product innovations. You can read all about GROHE’s coverage in The Sunday Times and the Metro here. We were also delighted to see a fantastic ‘Ask the Experts’ piece in this month’s Your Home magazine where GROHE provided tips and advice to a reader’s question on low water pressure. As GROHE are such experts in their field and are at the forefront of the sanitary fittings market, we have used this to explore and secure further coverage opportunities in consumer titles.
Meanwhile, our work with Versital, who manufacture bespoke stone resin bathroom surfaces in beautiful faux marble finishes, is continuing to return positive results. This month has further built on last month’s success, with lots of trade coverage, with increasing features in consumer titles. We particularly loved seeing Versital in Utopia’s sparkle feature this month, where their sparkling copper shower surface was a perfect fit for the piece.
Jessops held a social media competition over the Christmas period asking for amateur photographers to share their best winter snaps. This month, the winners’ photos were displayed in an exclusive London exhibition. We’ve been working hard to promote this event and received lots of online coverage from the likes of Photography Blog, The Londonist and Camera Jabber, which has helped to further highlight Jessops’ commitment to inspiring Britain in its love of photography.
