This July, Fisher & Paykel hosted a wonderful event for architects, designers and influencers at At The Kitchen in Cheadle Hulme – an intimate cookery school that opened its doors to aspiring chefs just over a year ago who visit from far and wide to learn new dishes on Fisher & Paykel appliances. The event was a fantastic opportunity for Fisher & Paykel to showcase its new range of black integrated appliances, giving guests the chance to feel the products and fully understand the ergonomics and design story behind each one.
Guests were treated to delicious New Zealand inspired cuisine by F&P partner chef, Peter Gordon who shared stories of personal encounters with Barack Obama, Oprah Winfrey and the Queen in between courses that were prepared in front of guests. Influencers got stuck in with a hands-on cooking class under the tutelage of Peter who walked them through the cooking process step by step with the help of Fisher & Paykel ovens and fridge freezers. DMC hosted a small group of bloggers and influencers including Sian Astley (Moregeous), Kate Baxter (Fabric of my Life), Karen Barlow and Jane Burkinshaw (Love Your Lens).
The evening was a complete success and provided Fisher & Paykel with a great opportunity to present its values and showcase innovative new designs. We were even treated to a sneak preview of upcoming products that will be released next year.
This is the second F&P architect and design event in collaboration with DMC and Peter Gordon and we can’t wait for the next one!
