Six-page case study for Fisher & Paykel

by Hollie Siddique on 15th Jul 2019

Out this month, premium design and architecture magazine, enki, has featured a unique case study showcasing six Fisher & Paykel appliances, spanning three double-page spreads. The stunning property was designed by Whiting Architects in Australia in partnership with the Fisher & Paykel team. When the F&P case study was first sent to us by the brand’s New Zealand head office, we knew that this beautiful case study would be the perfect fit for a design and architecture magazine like enki.

The feature looks at what the family expected from the project and the challenges that the architects faced as well as detailed descriptions of our client’s appliances and the history behind the Fisher & Paykel brand. This unique project lives in in Melbourne, Australia and the architects were successful in creating a contemporary kitchen that respected the history of the Edwardian house. The client had a clear desire to create a space that welcomes the concept of “The Social Kitchen”; a place where the family can prepare and cook meals together and where they can entertain guests. The Fisher & Paykel appliances compliment the client’s brief perfectly due to the intuitive and spacious nature of the products, enabling the whole family to become involved in the cooking process and have the space to prepare big family meals. The case study features six appliances which includes a CoolDrawer™, French door fridge freezer and a wine cabinet which can hold up to 144 bottles!
