Last week, the DMC team headed to The Business Design Centre in London for two jam-packed days of networking, conferences, interviews, as well as getting an insight into what hospitality design trends we can expect to see in 2017.
This year, a total of 160 brands and suppliers attended the exhibition to showcase their latest and very finest products, including our client GROHE, the Founder Partner and VIP Host of Sleep, who returned for their eleventh consecutive year.
DMC secured record attendance this year for a breakfast briefing with excellent turn out from key publications including SLEEPER, Boutique Hotelier, Foam & Bubbles and Hotel Designs. Sleep is Europe’s most prestigious hospitality design event, and we were delighted to be on hand to help communicate GROHE’s key messages for this industry. With 6 high profile interviews secured and 20 press attending the press briefing, we are delighted that this event was a great success.
The GROHE VIP Lounge was the perfect networking hub, full of new opportunities and the chance to see both new and familiar faces.
When we had a moment to spare, we had a scout around to try and suss what was on trend for 2017. Brassware finishes and marble surfaces were everywhere we turned, including GROHE’s new Essence range as well as some new concepts for the future.
It’s safe to say there’s going to be lots of exciting and personalised features appearing in bathroom designs over the next year, so prepare for serious bathroom envy!
