JYSK expands in Greater Manchester and supports local charitable causes

DMC is delighted to have initiated a charitable partnership between home interiors client JYSK and the Greater Manchester Mayor’s Charity in its mission to end homelessness within the region.

Following the announcement that the rapidly expanding retailer will open two new Greater Manchester stores just four weeks apart, DMC has supported JYSK in setting up donation points in store, in partnership with the local charity. JYSK will host contactless donation points within its four Greater Manchester stores, Bury, Stockport, Oldham, and Bolton. With the devastating effects of the pandemic being felt locally, many families have been impacted by homelessness unexpectedly. The partnership between JYSK and the Greater Manchester Mayor’s Charity will help to encourage shoppers local to the area to donate and support the fight in ending homelessness in the region.

JYSK fever has well and truly hit the North-West with eager shoppers’ excited to visit the two new stores. JYSK opened the first of its the new stores on Thursday June 10th in Bury, soon to be follow by a new Stockport store on Thursday, 8th July.

The Bury and Stockport stores will bring JYSK’s trusted scandi-chic homeware essentials to the area, along with their loved quality and affordable pricing.
