This month we're heading to Planted - London Design Festival's most anticipated new show, where our clients GROHE & Fisher & Paykel will engage in important conversations around sustainability, nature and our living spaces.
The event, based around the principles of biophilic design, will showcase leading sustainable design brands who place nature at their core, alongside nature-based installations, plant-based products and a forward-thinking talks programme.
As a leader in sustainable kitchen and bathroom solutions, GROHE will participate in the Planted talks series chaired by biophilic architect and Planted brand ambassador, Oliver Heath.
Sustainability is at the heart of GROHE’s brand ethos and inherent within its array of products; from water-saving technology in taps and showers to ground breaking 3D-printed taps, filtered water systems that reduce the need for single-use plastic bottles, and Cradle-to-Cradle certified products whose components can be reused to make new products once they reach their end-of-life phase.
In April 2020, GROHE achieved carbon neutral production worldwide, offsetting any unavoidable CO2 emissions through compensation projects in India and Malawi. GROHE has also pledged to remove plastic from its product packaging in favour of more sustainable materials, and has already achieved the removal of more than 32 million pieces of plastic.
