Launching JYSK’s biggest UK store during a pandemic
Opening a new store is no mean feat under normal circumstances, so imagine launching UK’s largest JYSK outlet during a global pandemic! The Liverpool location may have been moving towards a Tier 3 category but that didn’t stop us devising an integrated, flexible and very loud campaign that used all our creative juices to reach more than 2.6 million and achieve a continuous (socially distanced of course) queue of curious shoppers on the big day. We generated extensive coverage across national and regional press as well as securing a radio interview with BBC Merseyside detailing how the store would be opening and adhering to strict COVID guidelines. We also organised hugely successful influencer engagement as well as setting up exciting competitions to create region-wide awareness and a national buzz.
